Veronica Godson completed her degree in Community Health at Northern University in DeKalb, IL. She worked for the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) as an investigator and later as a childcare licensing agent. She left that position and started her first licensed home childcare in 1996 shortly after the birth of her son Saeger.
Melvin Godson completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Science at Bradley University. During his undergraduate years he also completed coursework in Early Child Development and Child Psychology. Most recently Melvin completed additional hours in Early Childhood Education at the College of Dupage.
As their family size increased Veronica decided to focus on parenting until their children were older. Today Melvin and Veronica have four adult children and one high schooler. In 2011 Veronica returned to full-time home childcare. Melvin assisted throughout the years and in 2018 joined Veronica full-time.
